Gaim 2.0.0beta5 (Development branch)

ScreenshotGaim is a GTK2-based instant messenger application. It supports multiple protocols via modules, including AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, MSN, Jabber, IRC, Napster, Gadu-Gadu and Zephyr. It has many common features found in other clients, as well as many unique features. Gaim is not endorsed by or affiliated with AOL TimeWarner, Microsoft, or Yahoo.

License: GNU General Public License (GPL)
Non-UTF8 text in IRC no longer causes crashes. Network connection detection is less error prone, the tray icon can now be disabled, and a preference was added for playing sounds only when unavailable.

    Salamo alikom, i can use this for linux, right? i don’t quite remember but i guess that i used it once and it didn’t work:( any suggestions!!!

    yes, i’m using it all the time and it’s available for windows too.
    for your problem with gaim try using latest new versions with the latest distros. for example don’t use RH9 but use Fedora 6 or 5 .
    this will sure work with u 🙂 .

    this is my 1st look to ur website ,it is wonderful effort .
    YOU know i am new user to linux system & i want to know if there is chat program can be installed on Mandriva 2007 that can support sound & video conferences….
    Also , i want to know the difference between ur system BinToo-2007 & Mandriva 2007 ……
